A fantastic opportunity to work with stand-up poet and performer Kate Fox, writing and sharing your work in a friendly atmosphere. What does ‘being authentic’ mean when it comes to writing and performing? A two-hour workshop.

Two high-energy poets from Leeds. Joe Williams presents a selection of work from his four published books, plus poems from his forthcoming collections Allegro on the Overpass and A Town of Shadows. Adam Lowe reads from his Polari First Book Prize 2024 shortlisted, and Poetry Book Society recommended collection, Patterflash.

Festival poetry competition judges Caroline Thompson, Leah Fletcher and Josie Bezant and present prizes to the winners of this year’s poetry competition for adults, and help to launch this year’s poetry anthology for grown-ups.
